When you work at an office, you always have that excuse not to exercise. However, people ditto much at work. It’s been estimated that never in the history of humanity have people been sitting so long as they do now. Not being active and eating too much of course lead to weight gain. And then you’re in a trap- you have no time to exercise because of your work, but still you want to lose weight. The solution? Practice during your lunch break! Don’t be afraid, we are not suggesting you run around the building (although you could) instead of eating a well deserved meal. We are suggesting the first 5 easier ways to lose weight during your lunch break!









1. Don’t laugh, we are serious. Meditation is a great way to lose stress. And losing that bad stress is not only good for your complexion, but also for losing extra pounds. If you take only five minutes to close your eyes and breathe deeply, you will feel much better. You don’t have to cross your legs and start singing OMM. You just need to relax and block out all the distractions around you. Keep in mind that if your mind is relaxed, your body will respond more easily to transformations.
 








2. Take a selfie! This might sound a bit odd, but before you get back to your desk from a lunch break, take a selfie. According to some new studies, looking at your selfies can be very good for weighing yourself regularly. And as you see the evidence of yourself slimming down before you, you will have more enthusiasm to proceed with your goals. And admit it, this is a fun way to track your weight loss.



3. Don’t worry! We promised there will be no sweating around the office. We are only recommending a few quick exercises you can do when nobody’s in the office. Remember- every squat counts. All you need to do is to grab a chair, squat down in front of it, without 

supporting yourself. Then, lower slowly down until your bottom touches the seat of the chair, and come up again. Do a few of these each day.

4. Don’t forget to stretch a bit. Sitting on your chair is not the healthiest thing, and you know it. So in order to stretch your body and prepare it for your lunch break exercises, try the trunk twist. To do this, sit on a chair and bent your elbows and clasp your palms. Then, twist your spine slowly. You might hear some weird sounds, but don’t worry. Just turn slowly to the left and to the right, and your spine will be thankful.






5. Okay, so this one is a bit harder. But if you really want to lose some weight, you need to be more adventurous! So, place your hands on the desk and your feet a bit further from the desk. Then, slowly, do a few pushups. Try to invest as much muscles into this as you can. Try to lift yourself up with your arms, back and butt. When approaching the desk, try to work more on your abs. Do a few of these exercises every day.
